Our Story

On the 16th of June 2018 William Fearnhead, affectionately known as Billy, was diagnosed with cancer on what would have been his wife Christine’s 63rd birthday. Sadly, Christine had passed away earlier in the year on the on 21st of January after a brave 7 year battle with cancer. Billy would pass away just weeks after his diagnosis on the 14th of August 2018.

Before passing Billy told his daughter Gail, the creator of Billy’s Bluebird, that life was too short and should be enjoyed to its fullest.

Named after her father and the Bluebird tattooed over his heart, Billy’s Bluebird was created by Gail Fearnhead both in the memory of her father Billy and per his advice to make the most of life, fulfil her lifelong dream of creating a welcoming space where she could share her love of both food and connecting with people.
